caught Jay's directorial debut, Secret.
Surprisingly, it wasnt the cliché kinda love story and
the twist was honestly pretty much unanticipated.
Totally mesmerising when he plays the piano dont ya tink?!
and thank goodness his acting skills improved since the Curse of the Golden Flower.

Here's the new cinema just across my place.
So that was the first movie i've seen here in chingyland.
i've always been very skeptical bout watching movies here coz
i've heard how disgustingly filthy the theatres can be.
People here actually smoke inside the cinemas
(ok, i know its somewhat cool to be able to do that but can u
imagine ashes and ciggie butts all over the place?!), and u know
how rowdy these pple can get? They can talk(yell) on their phones,
totally oblivious of the surrounding..rest their stinky legs on the
chair infront of them, spit(not on the ground but on the chairs!)
and ...all the things u can never imagine.
Anyway, i was quite pleased with the new cinema.
It was bizarrely Clean, New and pretty much like Singers'!
(yes u'd be impressed, for a moment!)
cept' the seats were abit, urm, too 'up-right' and the a/c wasnt really workin.
Oh and they also didnt have salted popcorn and nachos!
only sweet popcorn(which i really dont like by the way)...
Ah well..SGD4 for a movie, SGD3 for popcorn combo(2 medium drinks and a medium popcorn),
dont expect too much huh?
We cant even buy a movie tix in SG with 7bucks!
... ...
Ok, now i tink i might start being a moviegoer for awhile.
Haha. Talk bout being el'cheapo...
